Purchasing and Moving into our Townhouse
It was a good thing we got a lot of rest that week because Friday evening our condo sold. As part of the deal the buyer needed us to be out of the condo in just five weeks. That put us in high gear to find a place to live. We finally found a townhouse and closed on both properties literally in the nick of time. I can only tell you that I’m glad Debbie is so organized, and that she is such a shrewd business person. We closed both deals and started moving then on July 15, we got to spend our first night in our new home.
We found just what we wanted with two bedrooms and two baths, an eat in kitchen and a formal dining room, a huge living room with a fireplace all sitting on top of a full basement. The icing on the cake was a two car garage to park our cars in, we were ecstatic! It had been a long time since we left our home that had a garage.
We love it and we are very blessed and very thankful that we found exactly what we wanted and exactly what we needed to live in. The hard work was still to be done.
It turned out that we had time to move everything but the large items ourselves. We had movers come after we had everything else at the new place. The hard work was actually fun and I was glad I had the stamina to do the move myself with just Debbie and the movers help. I never thought I would do that much work again in my life, but I was blessed and got to realize I could achieve something like this move again.
It has taken us a while to get rested up since we didn’t take much time off work. OK I’ll be honest with you we are still trying to get rested up.
