The Revlimid cycle I started in March, continued without any complications. Let’s me take a look at April’s calendar:
- April 5, 2013 – Labs
- April 12, 2013 – Labs
- April 12, 2013 – Appointment with my neurologist for a routine follow-up visit to monitor the Epilepsy.
- April 18, 2013 – Labs & PET-CT scans to determine if the Revlimid & Rituxan chemotherapy regimen are working.
- April 25, 2013 – Labs, appointment with Dr. Reyes to get results of the scans, and for my routine follow-up. I started cycle #3 of the Revlimid treatment regimen
So you’re waiting to hear the results of the PET-CT scans (see how I feel while I wait on test results?).
While I didn’t get to hear the word remission, I was blessed to hear that the tumor size had reduced in size since the last scans.
One other note: I have already explained to you how I started on a low dose of Revlimid with plans to increase the dose after we determined there wouldn’t be any problems. Cycle #3, was the last cycle that was administered at the low dose.
