Focused On The Big Picture

Earlier, I told you it is very important to realize that “life is a journey not a destination.” At this point in my story I want to clarify that we all need to have a master plan and keep our eyes focused on our ultimate goal.

I believe that God is good. God truly loves you and me and He is always there for us. All He asks is that we reach out to Him in faith through prayer. A scripture that really encourages me is found in Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV)

“For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.”

My personal life’s experience have taught me a lot and I have defined “HOPE” as “Holding Onto Promises Everlasting” because I know that spending eternity with our Lord Jesus is a promise I can count on. The few years we spend here on this earth are just a few seconds in time considering all the plans God has for those of us who believe on His name.

Resources That Teach The Truth

Don’t think for one moment that I know all of the answers about life and death, and the time beyond the grave. I do, however, study the Bible on my own and use additional resources to learn everything I can about these subjects.

The following resources are ones that I believe provide solid information:

Insight for Living

Intentional Living
